Ingredients
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 2 TSP baking soda
- 2 TSP cinnamon
- 1 TSP salt
- 1 TSP nutmeg
- 1/2 TSP ginger
- 1/2 TSP ground cloves
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 ripe bananas
Steps
- Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger and ground cloves- set aside
- In a mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Beat eggs in one at a time until fully incorporated
- At low speed, add dry ingredients alternately with smashed bananas- beginning and ending with dry ingredients
- Stir in chocolate chips then turn into two greased bread loaf pans
- Bake at 350* for one hour, allow to cool before cutting
